HOW TO WEAR A TULLE SKIRT
Tulle is back (hurrah!) but it has come a long way since Carrie Bradshaw wore it in 2004.
Tulle is a fun fabulous texture to wear. It’s lightweight, festive and feminine.
Before you say ‘I’m too old to wear a tulle skirt’ STOP !! and take a look at these few looks I’ve created.
The best advice to wear Tulle this season is to dress it down with boots and knitwear. Carrie you look great, but we are not walking into a pub dressed as a fairy.
Designer Molly Goddard is the queen of Tulle and mixes it up with fairisle knits and platforms, but if that look scares you, there are a lot more wearable options on the high street.
THREE WAYS TO WEAR
This pale pink Tulle Skirt is from an independent shop Boho in Bath & Frome. I loved this blush shade.
It has an elasticated waist so you can style on the comfortable part of your tummy.
The lining underneath allows you to show a bit of leg without it feeling too youthful.
If you are unsure about a pale colour, go for other neutrals, slate grey, khaki navy or black.
